How a Body Protector Works
Body Protectors are made from materials which absorb and spread impact, thereby lessening or reducing the injury sustained from a fall or kick. Airowear uses UltraFlex technology to break the preconceptions associated with single-panelled body protectors, by combining super-soft absorption
materials with lightweight and perfortated properties improve comfort and airflow.
Why UltraFlex Technology?
Incorporating UltraFlex technology, Airowear body protectors improve comfort and flexibility for the rider bu using the thinnest possible shock absorbing materials without compromising on protection or comfort.
UltraFlex technology is cleverly structured so Outlyne can
spread around the torso, making it mould comfortably to the contours
of the body to give a flexible fit.
When combined with body heat, the body protector becomes much
softer as it reacts to changes in temperature.
Using UltraFlex technology, Airowear's body protectors take
even less time to soften as they absorb heat from the body much
quicker than traditional materials.
The Foam Panel Absorbs the Impact.

Six steps to fit the perfect Airowear:
The Outlyne should be fitted over light clothing and heavier garments worn over the top.
Take the chest and back length measurements & select the size from within the chart. A ladies fit may be better achieved by choosing one size smaller than the actual chest measurement.
Before trying on, loosen the chest and waist straps and flex the garment. Once on, insert thumbs into the armholes to bring the 2 panels together. This makes it easier to do the up the zip.
Fasten at the chest & waist until firm, but comfortable fit is achieved, ensuring the contrast orange velcro markers are covered. This step will determine whether a smaller or larger size is required.
Adjust the shoulders so the neckline lies flat against the body. If this cannot be achieved, a shorter back length may be needed.
Check the back length by sitting on a saddle and ensuring there is approximately a hands width between the saddle and the base of the Outlyne. At the front the, Outlyne should reach the breastbone & cover the bottom rib at the mid-chest by approximately 2.5cm.
